International House Tour
International House Tour
It’s been a long time coming but it’s finally here! Enjoy watching me ramble on about where I’ve been living this past year, the International House. Excuse the mess, please! :)
Note: The sound is pretty bad in the beginning because of the wind. Don’t worry, it gets better. ;)

Enjoyed the tour!
That’s a pretty good place – bigger than the place myself and *Twinkle* lived in during my year abroad :-)
Thanks for letting us in.
Glad you enjoyed the tour! Did it really seem that big? :P The International House rooms are the smallest that foreign students stay in at Hiro Dai. Most of my friends have actual apartments with like 2 or 3 rooms.
Hey Joe, was going to be an exchange student there in October, but didn’t get the scholarship so couldn’t make it and movd to Tokyio- have been following your blog all along though!
Was wonderinf I could ask a quick question tho – when is the snow lantern festival at the castle? Some places say beginning february , but others Feb 9-12?
Hope you can give me an accurate response, being there =) I was wanting to come down tonight on the night bus from Tokyo but wanted to find out first when the festival actually is.
Thanks man, take care!
Hi joe,
I came across your blog and i really wanted to use this layout for my own blog. Do you think you can help me with that? i don’t really know how to handle all these IT stuff. would be great if you could drop me an email at my email address. Thanks so much!
cheers,
Rach
Geez, I feel like Kansai Gaidai jipped us foreigners…I mean, I’d known they had, but seeing your experience hits home far more. The living areas we had were far less…welcoming. Plus you could actually take classes with Japanese students? We weren’t nearly so lucky.
